Coconut Shell Based Activated Carbon which is steam activated, and has large pore volume and very hard which makes it highly suitable for general air treatment for removal of organic compounds such as dissolved hydrocarbons. Being derived from coconut shell, it is treated and washed with a mild solution of sulphuric acid to remove unwanted impurities before being re-neutralized to produce a high quality carbon that can meet the demands of industrial gas and chemical plants. The main uses of the product are in the Oil and Petroleum Industries, Gas purification system and Pressure swing adsorbers.
